This Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator, Model ACT02, is designed to remove air from hydronic systems. It features a tangential inlet that creates a low-velocity centrifugal flow, allowing microbubbles and other entrained air to be separated and discharged through the top of the unit. The separator has a 2.5" threaded connection and can handle pressures up to 150 psi. The compact design allows for easy installation in tight spaces. With its ability to remove air from hydronic systems, this Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator helps improve system efficiency and prevent damage caused by air pockets.
