This Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air and Dirt Separator, Model 4903ADH, is designed to remove air and dirt from hydronic systems with high velocity flows up to 300 psi. The separator features a 3" flanged connection for easy installation and maintenance. The unit operates by directing the system fluid through a coalescing medium that separates air and dirt particles from the liquid. The separated particles are then collected in a removable strainer for easy disposal. This product is ideal for use in commercial hydronic systems where efficient operation and maintenance are critical to system performance.
4900 Series Overview
Taco 4900 Series Commercial Air & Dirt Separators efficiently remove air, dirt, and other contaminants from system components, enhancing efficiency and longevity. They use patented PALL ring technology to eliminate micro-bubbles and debris, while an optional magnet collects iron oxide and magnetite.
These separators also feature a vent mechanism for releasing merged micro-bubbles and a blowdown valve to dispose of dirt. The magnet, easily activated by a handle, simplifies maintenance and magnetite removal. They are suitable for systems with variable speed and constant flow.
Taco 4900 Series separators are constructed and tested to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 standards. Their design is guided by computerized selection, tailored for each application. All manufacturing occurs in-house, ensuring quality. Independent third-party tests validate performance.
