This close-coupled in-line pump uses an in-line configuration with 1.5-inch suction and discharge ports to minimize piping strain. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and bracket paired with a stainless steel impeller and a bronze face plate. Its hydraulic design fits a 4.75-inch nominal impeller, while the seal uses a ceramic seat with a carbon rotor and EPT rubber to handle temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is self-supporting and can be installed in horizontal or vertical orientations without external strapping. The casing includes pressure tappings for differential readings, following Hydraulic Institute standards for structural integrity at operating pressures up to 175 PSI.
The pump includes a 1/3 HP motor at 1750 RPM with an ODP enclosure powered by 230/460V 3PH. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
