This in-line circulator has a 3" companion flange and uses cast iron or 304 stainless steel for the casing and the balanced impeller. It includes a replaceable cartridge bearing assembly that isolates internal bearings from system fluid temperatures. The unit houses an alloy steel shaft with a cupro-nickel shaft sleeve, paired with a standard carbon and ceramic mechanical seal. For aggressive fluids, it can be installed with a Sealide-C and Viton seal. A flexible rubber drive coupling connects the pump to the motor, absorbing misalignment to maintain operation in heated or chilled water circulation or primary-secondary loops.
The pump operates with a 1/3 HP, 1725 RPM, resilient-mounted open-drip proof (ODP) motor connected to a 115V single-phase power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
