This in-line circulator has a 3" companion flange and uses a replaceable cartridge bearing assembly. The shaft includes alloy steel and a cupro-nickel shaft sleeve to isolate bearings from system fluid temperatures. The casing and dynamically balanced impeller use cast iron or 304 stainless steel. A carbon and ceramic mechanical seal is included, while a Sealide-C and Viton assembly can be installed for aggressive fluids. A flexible rubber drive coupling connects the motor to absorb misalignment during operation. This unit is suitable for heated or chilled water circulation, zoning, primary-secondary loops, and parallel pumping.
The unit includes a 1/2 HP, 1725 RPM, resilient-mounted open-drip proof (ODP) motor. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
