This in-line circulator includes 3" companion flanges for installation in hydronic systems. The pump construction has either cast iron or 304 stainless steel for the casing and the dynamically balanced impeller. A replaceable cartridge bearing assembly contains the alloy steel shaft and cupro-nickel shaft sleeve, which isolates internal bearings from system fluid temperatures. The unit includes a standard two-piece carbon and ceramic mechanical seal, while a flexible rubber drive coupling connects the motor to the pump assembly to absorb angular and parallel shaft misalignment. This configuration serves heated or chilled water circulation and primary-secondary loop applications.
The unit uses a 1/2 HP motor running at 1725 RPM within a resilient-mounted open-drip proof (ODP) enclosure. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
