This in-line circulator includes 3" companion flanges and uses a replaceable cartridge bearing assembly to isolate internal bearings from system fluid temperatures. The shaft consists of alloy steel paired with a cupro-nickel shaft sleeve, while the standard mechanical seal uses a two-piece carbon and ceramic assembly. The casing and the dynamically and hydraulically balanced impeller use cast iron construction. A rugged flexible rubber drive coupling connects the motor to the pump, which helps to absorb angular and parallel misalignment during operation. This configuration is suitable for heated or chilled water circulation, primary-secondary loops, and zoning large installations.
The unit has a 1/2 HP motor operating at 1725 RPM, housed in a resilient-mounted open-drip proof (ODP) enclosure with a 115/230V, 1PH power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
