This in-line circulator uses cast iron construction for the casing and the dynamically and hydraulically balanced impeller. It includes companion flanges in a 3" size. The internal assembly consists of a replaceable cartridge bearing housing with an alloy steel shaft and a cupro-nickel shaft sleeve. This cartridge design isolates the internal bearings from the system fluid temperature. A standard two-piece carbon and ceramic mechanical seal restricts fluid leakage. The pump suits heated or chilled water circulation along with primary-secondary loops. The motor connection has a flexible rubber drive coupling to absorb angular and parallel misalignment during operation.
The pump includes a 1 HP, 1725 RPM, open-drip proof motor operating on 230/460V, 3PH power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
