This in-line circulator uses a 3" companion flange for system integration. The casing and the dynamically balanced impeller are built with cast iron. A replaceable cartridge bearing assembly separates the internal bearings from the system fluid, which extends the service life of the unit. The shaft uses alloy steel construction combined with a cupro-nickel shaft sleeve. A two-piece carbon and ceramic mechanical seal protects the drive components. This unit can be installed in heated or chilled water circulation systems along with primary-secondary loops.
The 1/4 HP motor operates at 1725 RPM and has an open-drip proof (ODP) enclosure, paired with a 115V single-phase power supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. The connection uses a rugged flexible rubber drive coupling to absorb misalignment. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
