This in-line circulator has a 3" flange size and a replaceable cartridge bearing assembly. The design separates internal bearings from system fluid temperatures through a shaft sleeve made of cupro-nickel, paired with an alloy steel shaft. The casing and the dynamically and hydraulically balanced impeller are built with cast iron. A two-piece carbon and ceramic mechanical seal is included to manage fluid containment. This unit is suitable for applications such as heated or chilled water circulation, zoning large installations, and primary-secondary pumping loops. The drive system uses a flexible rubber coupling to connect the motor to the pump, which absorbs both angular and parallel misalignment during operation.
The pump uses a 1/4 HP, 1725 RPM, open-drip proof (ODP) motor at 115V, 1PH. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
