Grundfos Combination Valves combine three valves in one: shut–off, balancing, and check. A combination valve fitted between the discharge pipe and the discharge flange of a Grundfos pump gives the following advantages:
- Changes the flange orientation to allow a 90° pipe connection
- Reduces the overall system pressure drop since fewer individual components are needed when installing a pump
- Easy to dismantle and service – internal parts, such as the disc, can be easily removed and/or replaced
- The built-in bypass valve allows for drainage of water upstream of the check valve
- The bypass valve MUST be CLOSED at all times in normal operation
- The bypass valve should ONLY be used by authorized personnel to drain water from the piping above
Grundfos combination valves are available with ANSI 125 flanges and ANSI 250 flanges in various sizes ranging from 2" to 14" suction and discharge ports.
