Taco 1600 Series In-Line Pumps – Reliable Performance & Easy Service

First introduced in 1963, Taco 1600 Series horizontal in-line pumps rocked the Hydronics market with an innovative cartridge design and simplified field maintenance. Today, 1600 Series pumps still feature a replaceable, permanently lubricated bearing cartridge and have an exclusive cool-bearing cartridge design. Isolating the bearing from the effects of system temperatures greatly extends bearing life. Additionally, thanks to its standard bearing design, one bearing cartridge can be used to service multiple pumps. A one-piece enclosed impeller, flexible coupler, and resilient mounted motor add to the 1600 Series’ easy servicing.

Taco 1600 Series In-Line Pumps are available in 15 models ranging in performance capacity from 20 to 200 GPM with head capacities up to 68 ft. All models are rated to a working pressure of 175 psi (cold water) or 125 psi at their rated temperature (250°F standard or 300°F with Hi-Temp seal). They are suited for a wide range of applications, from heating systems to cooling towers, LoadMatch® systems and recirculation, plus many in between.

1600 Series Pumps & eLink® Connectivity

All Taco 1600 Series pumps feature eLink, Taco Comfort Solutions’ line of cloud services. eLink provides users access to their devices’ data and performance from their mobile device with the ability to support, monitoring, or control those devices from anywhere. Learn more about eLink on Taco’s website.

LoadMatch® Systems & 1600 Series Pumps

1600 Series pumps can be utilized in LoadMatch applications. LoadMatch systems are self-balancing, green hydronic single piping systems designed to save on costs, improve efficiency, and more. LoadMatch allows users to specify one pipe size for large portions of the system. In single-loop installations, there is no limit to the number of coils that can be installed. Read more on LoadMatch systems on Taco’s website.

Additionally, by utilizing near field communication (NFC) tags installed on a 1600 Series pump, LoadMatch provides users with that pump’s relevant information. Simply tap a mobile device to the eLink NFC tag on your 1600 Series pump to access information such as technical specs, repair parts, tech support contact, rep information, catalog sheets, CAD/REVIT files, and more.
