Bell & Gossett offers a full line of manual and automatic air vents designed to remove troublesome air from systems. Air vents are available with 1/8". 1/2", and 3/4" connections and in cast iron, brass, or steel construction with non-ferrous internals.
Air Vent Models:
No. 107A – High-capacity air vent designed to purge free air from liquid systems at up to 150 psi operating pressure. Model 107A air vents feature a cast iron body and bonnet with stainless steel, brass, and EPDM internal components and are suitable for a maximum operating temperature of 250°F. It has a 3/4" NPT inlet and 3/8" NPT outlet.
No. 98 – Float style automatic brass air vent designed with non-ferrous internals and a brass body and cap. It features a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and a maximum operating temperature of 240°F.
No. 97 – Float type automatic air vent that has a forged brass body and cap with non-ferrous internals. Model 97 air vents feature a forged brass body, cap, and non-ferrous internals. It has a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and a maximum operating temperature of 240°F.
No. 87, 67, and 7 – These non-ferrous automatic air vents are 4-3/4" x 2-1/4", 3-3/16" x 1-1/2", and 4-1/6" x 2-3/16" (height and width), respectively, and are rated for a maximum operating temperature of 240°F at pressures of 150, 35, and 75 psi, respectively. The No. 87 has a combination of 1/2" FPT x 3/4" MPT connection, whereas No’s. 67 and 7 have 1/8" MPT and 1/8" FPT connections, respectively.
No. 4V - This coin-operated air vent is specially designed for the new types of radiators. An important feature is that it projects only slightly, almost flush with the radiator. It features stainless steel construction, a maximum working pressure of 150 psi, and a maximum operating temperature of 250°F.
