Quiet Wet Rotor Circulation for Closed Hydronic Heating Systems
Bell & Gossett NRF wet rotor pumps are flanged in-line, system-lubricated circulators designed for quiet, dependable operation in closed hydronic heating systems. Built for reliable seasonal start-ups and long service life, the NRF Series is a strong choice for residential and light commercial heating applications.
The NRF Series features high starting torque, providing up to 80% more starting torque than competing circulators. This helps support dependable start-ups, especially after seasonal shutdowns or extended periods of inactivity.
Bell & Gossett’s DuraGlide™ Bearing System combines multiple components that work together to help prevent seasonal freeze-up and provide years of trouble-free operation. The pump’s closed impeller design improves operating efficiency, while the stabilized, heat-resistant polypropylene impeller supports durable performance in heating system environments.
For added protection, the NRF Series includes a self-cleaning particle shield that helps protect the shaft and bearings from start-up debris. A one-piece, high-nickel stainless steel stator can isolates the stator from system fluid while helping maintain precise bearing alignment for longer bearing life.
Carbon bearings, a diamond-like ceramic shaft, and generous internal clearances help resist lime, chloride, and oxide buildup. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction on the face plate and rotor sleeve further supports longer pump life.
