Grundfos CRE Vertical In-Line Multistage Pumps for Variable-Speed Pressure Boosting, HVAC, Water Treatment, and Industrial Process Systems
Grundfos CRE Vertical In-Line Multistage Pumps combine the proven hydraulic design of the Grundfos CR Series with an electronically controlled motor and integrated variable-speed technology. Designed for applications where flow, pressure, or other operating conditions change throughout the day, CRE pumps can automatically adjust pump performance to system demand rather than continuously operating at full speed.
The CRE is a vertical, non-self-priming multistage centrifugal pump with in-line suction and discharge connections. Its compact vertical configuration helps reduce floor space and simplify piping, while multiple impeller stages provide the head required for pressure boosting, water supply, HVAC, industrial process, water treatment, and other high-pressure pumping applications.
A major advantage of Grundfos CRE pumps is the integrated variable-frequency drive and intelligent motor control. When combined with appropriate sensors and control settings, the pump can regulate operation according to parameters such as constant pressure, differential pressure, temperature, differential temperature, flow, or level. This demand-based operation can reduce unnecessary energy consumption while improving system control and process stability.
