Grundfos CRN Vertical In-Line Multistage Pumps for Water Treatment, Industrial Process, Pressure Boosting, and Corrosive Liquid Applications
Grundfos CRN Vertical In-Line Multistage Pumps are designed for applications that require high pressure, compact installation, and enhanced corrosion resistance. Built with stainless steel wetted components, the CRN range is well suited for water treatment, industrial process water, pressure boosting, filtration, wash systems, and other applications where fluid purity or aggressive operating conditions make stainless steel construction important.
Like the broader Grundfos CR platform, CRN pumps use a vertical multistage centrifugal design with in-line suction and discharge connections. Multiple impeller stages allow the pump to generate high head while maintaining a compact footprint, making CRN pumps a strong choice for mechanical rooms, process skids, treatment systems, and packaged equipment where both space and pressure capability matter.
The key distinction of the CRN range is its stainless steel construction. This provides improved corrosion resistance compared with standard cast-iron-based configurations and makes the CRN especially useful for demineralized water, treated water, chemical process support, food and beverage utilities, industrial cleaning, and other compatible liquids that require more resistant wetted materials.
Grundfos CRN pumps are available in a wide range of sizes, stages, seal arrangements, and motor configurations, allowing the pump to be matched to different flow, head, temperature, pressure, and liquid requirements. The CRN platform also supports electronically controlled CRNE versions for variable-speed and demand-based pumping applications.
