Grundfos CRT Vertical In-Line Multistage Pumps for Seawater, Desalination, Chemical Processing, and Corrosive Liquid Applications
Grundfos CRT Vertical In-Line Multistage Pumps are corrosion-resistant centrifugal pumps designed for demanding applications involving seawater, chlorides, chemicals, and other aggressive liquids. Based on the proven Grundfos CR vertical multistage platform, the CRT range uses titanium for all components in contact with the pumped liquid, providing exceptional corrosion resistance for industrial, marine, desalination, chemical processing, and water treatment applications.
The Grundfos CRT is a non-self-priming vertical multistage centrifugal pump. Multiple impeller stages provide the high head required for pressure boosting, reverse osmosis, industrial processing, and other demanding pumping applications, while the vertical in-line configuration provides high pressure capability within a relatively compact footprint.
The primary advantage of the CRT range is its titanium wetted construction. Titanium offers excellent resistance to seawater and marine environments as well as a broad range of acids, alkalis, natural waters, and industrial chemicals. This makes CRT pumps particularly valuable where conventional cast iron or stainless steel pumps may not provide sufficient corrosion resistance.
Applications for CRT pumps range from seawater and sodium hypochlorite handling to bleaching solutions, chlorides, acids, and other industrial chemicals. The range is therefore well suited for facilities where both high-pressure multistage performance and resistance to aggressive liquids are essential.
