Paktronics Series
Beta Series
Beta Series of open-architecture electronic temperature controls are a low-cost alternative to mechanical or pneumatic thermostats or expensive panel-mounted temperature controllers.
When coupled with a model LCD3000 digital display, Beta Series electronic temperature controllers provide the convenience of digital indication of actual process temperature. The LCD3000 is a 3-1/2 digit LCD with a resolution of 1°. With its flexible wire sensor, Beta Series controllers eliminate the problems of capillary tube kinking and breakage. In addition, the quick-connect terminals allow fast installation and service. Use the Beta Series of controllers where it is ideal to have accurate, repeatable temperature control through a narrow dead band.
Pakstat Series I
The Pakstat Series I electronic thermostat is a low-cost alternative to mechanical, pneumatic, or DIN-packaged controllers. With its flexible wire sensor, the Pakstat Series I controllers eliminate the problems of capillary tube kinking and breakage. In addition, the quick-connect terminals allow fast installation and service. The Pakstat Series I is used where it is desirable to have accurate, repeatable temperature control through a narrow dead band.
Pakstat Series II
The Pakstat Series II digital electronic thermostat is a low-cost alternative to mechanical or pneumatic controls with separate thermometers or DIN packaged controllers. Coupled with an LCD3000 digital display, it offers the convenience of digital indication of process temperature. The LCD3000 is a 3-1/2 digit display with a resolution of 1°. Its accuracy of 1%, +/- one digit, meets most agency requirements for food storage.
With its flexible wire sensor, Pakstat Series II controllers eliminate the problems of capillary tube kinking and breakage. In addition, the quick-connect terminals allow fast installation and service. Use Pakstat Series II, where it is desirable to have accurate, repeatable temperature control through a narrow dead band (as close as +/- 1°).
Trakstat
Trakstat electronic thermostats are a cost-effective alternative to mechanical or pneumatic controllers. Trakstat’s design flexibility and economical packaging offer a quality electronic thermostat that fits most original equipment manufacturers’ temperature control requirements. Trakstat controls can incorporate either a resistance temperature device (RTD) or a thermistor sensor. Sensors of this type eliminate the problems of capillary tube kinking, and their calibration is not affected by atmospheric pressure changes. Trakstat offers versatile mounting capabilities. Setpoint options include a factory-adjusted fixed setpoint, snap-in control shaft, or remote potentiometer when there is limited panel space. The U.L. and C.S.A. recognized that a 20 AMP output relay would handle most load requirements of the output and can be configured to drive a solid-state relay. The quick-connect terminals allow for fast installation and service.
