NIBCO press tools, jaws, and chain sets ensure a robust and permanent connection between NIBCO Press System fittings, valves, and copper piping. Battery-operated NIBCO press fitting tools create a watertight connection with no flame, solder, or flux. The lightweight, ergonomically designed press tool features a pressing head that smoothly rotates 350° making it ideal for working in tight spaces. As a safety feature, an interruptible crimp cycle will instantly stop the forward motion of the rollers when the trigger is released. In addition, a manual retract switch allows the user to return the rollers to the starting position in case of an error or emergency. A unique “N” witness mark is visible when adequately crimped.
NIBCO press fitting tools sized 1/2" through 2" are for use with all brands of press fittings. NIBCO 2-1/2" through 4" press fittings require using the NIBCO-branded tool, adapter, and chains.
