Taco 0018e ECM High-Efficiency Circulators for Hydronic Heating, Radiant Systems, Domestic Hot Water, and Smart Pump Control
Taco 0018e ECM High-Efficiency Circulators are variable speed wet rotor circulators designed for hydronic heating, radiant heating, indirect water heaters, hydro-air fan coils, open-loop potable water, and domestic water recirculation applications. Built with an ECM permanent magnet motor, the 0018e provides high-efficiency circulation while giving contractors and system owners more control over pump performance.
The 0018e features Bluetooth® wireless communication and an intuitive mobile app for iOS and Android. Through the Taco 0018e ECM Circulator Mobile App, users can view and control real-time system performance, run operation and validation reports, review diagnostics and performance history, and identify more efficient settings based on system feedback. This helps reduce over-pumping and supports better system commissioning and service documentation.
The 0018e offers multiple operating modes, including minimum/maximum fixed speed, constant pressure, proportional pressure, and TacoAdapt™ self-adjusting proportional pressure. TacoAdapt™ is especially useful for constant circulation systems with thermostatic radiator valves because it continuously monitors changing system conditions and automatically adjusts the pump performance curve.
With flow performance from 0 to 16 GPM, head range from 0 to 18 feet, ECM power use from 4W to 44W, and up to 85% electricity savings compared with conventional circulators, the Taco 0018e is a strong high-efficiency option for residential and light commercial circulation systems. Cast iron models are available for closed-loop hydronic systems, while stainless steel models support open-loop potable water and domestic water recirculation applications.
