Fixed-Port Venturi Balancing Valves for Accurate Flow Measurement and Preset Hydronic Balancing
Taco Accu-Flo Balancing Valves are designed to provide accurate flow measurement and balancing in hydronic heating and cooling systems. Unlike many conventional balancing valves that use a variable orifice, Accu-Flo valves use a modified venturi design to improve balancing accuracy, reduce measurement uncertainty, and support more reliable system commissioning.
The fixed-port venturi design allows flow measurement to remain independent of stem and ball position, helping technicians read and verify flow more consistently during startup, troubleshooting, and system balancing. This design also helps address common issues found in traditional balancing valves, such as high pressure drop, low pressure regain, poor low-flow readability, and reduced balancing precision.
Taco Accu-Flo Balancing Valves are built with all-brass interior components, precision machining, and 100% factory testing. A calibrated nameplate supports accurate presetting, while a tamper-resistant memory stop allows the valve to return to the correct setting after shutoff or service.
