Taco GT Series Single-Stage, Double Suction Horizontal Split Case Pumps

Taco GT Series single-stage double suction horizontal split case pumps are designed for high-capacity heating, air conditioning, pressure boosting, cooling water transfer, and water supply applications. Their horizontal split-case construction, high-efficiency double suction impeller, and broad hydraulic range support demanding systems where reliable flow, service access, and dependable pressure performance are important to long-term operation.

Taco GT Series Horizontal Split Case Pumps for Commercial HVAC, Pressure Boosting, Cooling Water Transfer, and Large Water Supply Systems

Taco GT Series Single-Stage, Double Suction Horizontal Split Case Pumps are designed for high-capacity water movement in commercial HVAC, heating, air conditioning, pressure boosting, cooling water transfer, and water supply applications. Built for large mechanical rooms, central plants, institutional facilities, and industrial water systems, the GT Series provides the flow, head, and durability needed for demanding high-volume pumping service.

The GT Series is Taco’s large-capacity horizontal split case pump platform, with performance ranges that extend well beyond many standard commercial pump families. Taco lists flow capabilities from 870 to 19,150 GPM, head ranges from 20 to 430 feet, horsepower from 50 to 1,500 HP, and pump sizes from 10" to 18", making this series a strong fit for major building systems and large water distribution applications.

The double suction hydraulic design helps support efficient, stable operation in high-flow systems. By bringing flow into both sides of the impeller, double suction pumps can help reduce axial thrust and improve hydraulic balance compared with single-suction configurations. This makes the GT Series especially suitable for applications where pump reliability, bearing life, and continuous operation are important.

Taco GT Series pumps are built with a cast iron pump casing, high-efficiency double suction bronze or stainless steel impeller, carbon steel or stainless steel shaft, bronze or stainless steel shaft sleeve, and mechanical seal construction. Taco describes the GT Series as providing reliability and ease of installation for heating, air conditioning, pressure boosting, cooling water transfer, and water supply applications.
