Taco KV Series Vertical In-Line Pumps for Commercial HVAC, Hydronic Heating, Cooling, and Water/Glycol Systems
Taco KV Series Vertical In-Line Pumps are designed for dependable water circulation in commercial HVAC, hydronic heating, closed cooling circuits, air conditioning systems, LoadMatch® systems, solar, geothermal, and water/glycol applications. Built for optimum performance and ease of installation, the KV Series provides a compact vertical in-line pump solution for mechanical rooms where floor space, service access, and reliable operation are important.
The close-coupled design helps improve pump and motor alignment while supporting longer seal life. Because the KV Series uses a simplified in-line configuration, it does not require isolation pads and can help reduce installation time, piping complexity, and overall installed cost. Taco also notes that service is easier because the pump can be pulled out from the back without disconnecting the pump from the piping system.
The KV Series is designed with several hydraulic and service features that support long-term performance. The axial load is hydraulically balanced to help increase bearing life, improve pump efficiency, and lower NPSH requirements. A recirculating line flushes the seal faces to help extend seal life, while the vertical in-line layout helps keep the footprint small in crowded mechanical spaces.
With flow performance from 10 to 2,650 GPM, head range from 11 to 385 feet, standard temperature capability of 250°F, optional temperature capability up to 300°F, standard working pressure of 175 PSIG, optional working pressure of 300 PSIG, horsepower from 3/4 to 60 HP, and sizes from 1-1/2" to 8", Taco KV Series Vertical In-Line Pumps are well suited for commercial heating, cooling, and hydronic distribution systems that require efficient, space-saving pump performance.
