This in-line pump has 1 1/2" suction and discharge connections. The unit uses a cast iron casing and bracket paired with a stainless steel impeller and shaft. A replaceable bearing cartridge assembly resides within the unit, which contains permanently sealed, grease-lubricated ball bearings. This construction includes a mechanical seal assembly consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon mating ring, EPT elastomers, and a stainless steel spring and retainer. The assembly handles system fluids reaching temperatures up to 250°F. The standardized cartridge arrangement simplifies maintenance requirements while the cooler-running design isolates the bearings from system fluid temperatures.
This unit is supplied without a motor. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
