This Taco Suction Diffuser Rear Strainer Pullout (RSP) is designed to protect pumps by removing debris from the fluid flow. The suction diffuser works by providing a flow straightening section and a suction diffuser section, which reduces turbulence and increases efficiency. The rear strainer pullout allows for easy maintenance and cleaning without the need to disconnect any piping. This model has flanged connections that can withstand pressures up to 250 psi. With a size of 3" x 3", it is suitable for use with pumps of similar capacities.

These Taco suction diffusers provide maximum flow efficiency at the pump's suction inlet while reducing space and fitting requirements. This eliminates the need for an equivalent length of ten pipe diameters of straight run on the pump's suction side.
This flow straightening device incorporates numerous features into one device, simplifying installations and reducing installation costs. They act as an elbow (and, in some cases, a reducing elbow) with a built-in strainer.
