This Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator, Model ACT12F, is a hydronic system component designed to effectively remove air and microbubbles from the circulating fluid. The 12" flanged connection allows for easy installation and maintenance. With a maximum working pressure of 150 psi, this air separator can handle high-pressure systems. The built-in strainer filters out debris and prevents clogging of downstream components. Additionally, the base ring provides stability during installation and operation. As fluid flows through the air separator, it is directed tangentially, causing centrifugal force to separate the air from the fluid. The separated air is then vented out through an automatic air vent valve while the clean fluid continues to circulate in the system. This Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator is a reliable and efficient solution for maintaining optimal performance in hydronic systems.
ACT Series Overview
Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separators feature a highly efficient tangential design that helps clear the free air system and reduces un-dissolved sediment to save money, energy, and component wear.
