This Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator, Model ACT14, is a reliable and efficient solution for air elimination in hydronic systems. The unit features a tangential flow design that separates air from water, ensuring optimal system performance. With a 14" flanged connection and a maximum pressure rating of 150 psi, this air separator is suitable for use in large commercial and industrial applications. As water flows through the unit, it is forced into a centrifugal motion that separates any entrained air bubbles from the fluid stream. The separated air is then vented out of the system via an automatic float-style vent valve. This process helps to prevent corrosion, reduce noise levels, and improve overall efficiency in the hydronic system.
ACT Series Overview
