This Raypak insulation material is a refractory blanket designed to provide superior thermal resistance and stability. It is composed of high-purity alumina, silica, and zirconia, which are spun into a flexible fibrous structure. With a maximum continuous use temperature of 1260┬░C (2300┬░F), it offers excellent heat insulation properties. The Raypak refractory blanket also exhibits low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, excellent thermal shock resistance, light weight, and superior corrosion resistance. It is primarily used in the lining of furnaces and kilns to prevent heat loss and improve energy efficiency.
