This Taco Suction Diffuser Rear Strainer Pullout (RSP) is a flanged device that can handle up to 250 psi of pressure. The suction diffuser is designed to work with the pump to enhance its efficiency and protect it from damage caused by debris in the fluid. The strainer at the rear of the device filters out any unwanted particles, while the pullout design makes it easy to clean and maintain. These Taco suction diffusers provide maximum flow efficiency at the pump's suction inlet while reducing space and fitting requirements. This eliminates the need for an equivalent length of ten pipe diameters of straight run on the pump's suction side.
This flow straightening device incorporates numerous features into one device, simplifying installations and reducing installation costs. They act as an elbow (and, in some cases, a reducing elbow) with a built-in strainer.
