This Chemtrol Model B butterfly valve is a wafer style valve with low flow restriction. The valve's injection molded PVC construction with FKM seat is ideal for use in chemical applications. The disc and stem sheath are molded over a 316 stainless steel hex shaft to make a one-piece assembly. With this unique dry shaft seal, liquid never contacts the shaft, even at maximum pressure. The leak-proof design incorporates vulcanized bushings and double O-ring seals. The valve is easy to install but cannot be used as an isolation valve.
