This Taco ACT Series Tangential Air Separator, Model ACT025F, is a high-quality component designed to remove air from hydronic systems. With its 2.5" threaded connection and 125 psi capacity, it is capable of handling demanding applications with ease. The included strainer helps to prevent debris from entering the system, while the base ring provides additional stability during installation. This air separator works by utilizing centrifugal force to remove air bubbles from the system's water flow. As water enters the separator, it is forced to change direction rapidly, causing any entrained air bubbles to rise to the top of the unit where they can be vented out of the system. The result is improved system efficiency and reduced maintenance requirements.
