This Taco Suction Diffuser Rear Strainer Pullout (RSP) is an 8" x 6" flanged device that can handle up to 250 psi. The suction diffuser is designed to be installed on the suction side of a pump to remove any debris or foreign particles from the fluid before it enters the pump. The rear strainer pullout feature allows for easy maintenance and cleaning without having to disassemble the entire unit. This suction diffuser is an essential component in any piping system as it helps to protect the pump from damage and prolongs its lifespan.

These Taco suction diffusers provide maximum flow efficiency at the pump's suction inlet while reducing space and fitting requirements. This eliminates the need for an equivalent length of ten pipe diameters of straight run on the pump's suction side.
This flow straightening device incorporates numerous features into one device, simplifying installations and reducing installation costs. They act as an elbow (and, in some cases, a reducing elbow) with a built-in strainer.
