This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal with a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of handling clean water up to 300°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge design facilitates self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with an ODP enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. It is rated for 230-460/60/3 power, a 40°C ambient environment, and meets NEMA standards. The motor complies with premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Additional features include across-the-line starting, CCW rotation, no drip cover, and a PEI of 0.84.
