This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet. The motor is a TEFC enclosure that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power with a 40 °C ambient rating and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation with across-the-line starting. The pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.92.
