This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a stainless steel impeller. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction utilizing a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, which prevents contact with the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal constructed with EPT rubber and ceramic faces rated for 250°F is integrated into the assembly. This pump assembly provides 125 PSI pressure capability and is constructed with a replaceable wear ring to maintain hydraulic performance over the operational life.
The assembly utilizes a 20 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding on a 380-460V 3PH power supply. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with an electro-mechanical bypass with main disconnect and fused disconnect and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
