Smart End Suction Pumping with Integrated Drive Control
Taco SFI Series base-mounted end suction pumps are designed to deliver quiet, dependable operation, strong hydraulic performance, and advanced system control in one integrated package. Built for modern hydronic and water system applications, these pumps combine the proven performance of a base-mounted end suction pump with an integrated drive that automatically responds to changing system demand.
The SFI Series helps simplify installation by reducing the need for remote sensors, complex wiring, and additional control components. This integrated design can help lower installation costs, improve project scheduling, and give contractors and building teams a more streamlined pumping solution.
Engineered for long service life, the SFI Series features an improved bearing frame design with sealed-for-life bearings that meet industry requirements for a minimum L10 life of 60,000 hours. Optional re-greaseable bearings are also available. An easy-to-replace slip-on shaft sleeve helps make field seal maintenance faster and more cost-effective.
Taco’s dry shaft design protects the pump shaft by preventing contact with the circulating fluid, helping reduce the need for corrosion-resistant shaft materials in many applications. Flush seal line taps allow for filter installation to help protect the seal from particles in open systems, while standard pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections support easier monitoring and service.
With multiple control modes, including constant flow, constant pressure, flow compensation, duplex pump alternation, and parallel pumping configuration, the SFI Series provides flexibility for a wide range of system requirements. DIY balancing capability and UL 778 / CSA C22.2 No. 108 compliance help support safe, efficient, and reliable operation.
