This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It is equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 215 JM motor frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 575/60/3 power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The configuration utilizes an across the line starting option, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
