This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supports operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP ODP Baldor motor on a NEMA 213 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler covered by a standard coupler guard.
