This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connections including ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a slip-on shaft sleeve for seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and suction and discharge pressure tappings. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 286 JM frame with feet. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, follows NEMA standards, and utilizes counter-clockwise rotation. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
