This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring inside a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows service without disturbing system piping, while flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections facilitate system maintenance.
The pump uses a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, operating at 3450 RPM. It runs on a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor is built on a 184 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit meets NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87. The top centerline discharge design simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
