This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. The unit includes a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The design features a dry shaft configuration, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and standard pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout assembly allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with venting and piping layouts.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 182JM frame with feet, and across the line starting. It operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply in environments with a 40 °C ambient temperature. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.83.
