This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a bronze wear ring and uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to support a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump is equipped with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the included Woods coupler. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and maintains a PEI value of 0.91.
