This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that utilizes a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 225°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH with across-the-line starting. The assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device, a welded base with an integrated drip pan, and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the pump maintains a PEI value of 0.9.
