This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from circulating fluids. The pump is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a JM frame with feet and utilizes across-the-line starting. Electrical specifications include a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly maintains a PEI value of 0.84. The top centerline discharge design facilitates piping layouts and provides self-venting capabilities.
