This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 182T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
