This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. Engineered with a dry shaft design, the unit prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft. A bronze shaft sleeve protects the shaft assembly, while the mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat with EPT rubber components to operate at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing incorporates center-line discharge and integral mounting feet, and the assembly supports pressure levels up to 125 PSI. Gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections, along with a bottom drain port, allow for system maintenance and monitoring.
Powered by a 125 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, this assembly integrates Aegis grounding on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
