This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction, and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit uses a 6-1/4" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting and reduces piping strain.
