This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
The unit is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. It operates at 3450 RPM and is built on a NEMA 284TS frame with premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. This pump has a PEI of 0.95 and is rated for a 40°C ambient operating temperature.
