This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 326T NEMA frame, operating at 1750 RPM on 230-460/60/3 power. It is configured for across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler secured by a coupler guard. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.92.
