This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing and cover, a 7-1/4" nominal stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The pump design incorporates flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration to facilitate maintenance. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured on a 284 JM frame with feet and is rated for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions. The motor meets NEMA standards, and the pump is rated with a PEI of 0.94.
